Dewaruci is a wayang play revealing the story of Bratasena in finding his God and himself. As the Dewaruci play is regarded as a drama, which is full of ma'rifat values, it can be studied in terms of its ma'rifat meaning. This writing studies the meaning of ma'rifat in the story of Dewaruci. The study is focused on (1) the long journey Bratasena passed through in gaining ma'rifat, (2) syariat (procedure) Bratasena made in gaining the ma'rifat, (3) Mujahadah (spirit of struggle) olah raga seriousness Bratasena has in passing the process of gaining ma'rifat, (4) the process of ma'rifat Bratasena did, (5) maqom (reference) of Bratasena's ma'rifat, and (6) the perfect of the ma'rifat of Bratasena.
