Nowadays our society are facing a cultural transitional period, that is, a period of transition from an agrarian society to an industrial society. In accordance with the transitional period, the kethoprak art is also being worked on with an orientation to an art industry. However, the effort to make an art industry still needs to be reexamined because the performances that have taken place have not been put on the proper proportions, in the sense that they have put importance only on physical aspects such as humor without putting importance on moral-mental values.
