Studio-Based Learning; Sebuah Model Pembelajaran Bagi Pendidikan Seni
In the last ten years, it has been huge number of design institution in the main city of Indonesia which is providing program for diploma or strata 1. It has been such great full because of people consciousness which will allow design plays significant role in developing economy of the country. Even in the globalization era, this role tends to be more increased. On the other hand, education execution is very inhomogeneous quality. The inhomogeneous quality is caused by the weak understanding the important of studio-based learning education system. It is proved by teaching time allocation without fundamental source (e.g. credit semester system), and the insufficiently lecturer-student ratio. Based on that problem, in this paper we try to present the broad understanding of Studio-Based Learning (SBL) and how this model will be applied in design institution.
