Craftsman as someone doing small business is demanded to understand thernneed of consumer in order to produce and spread his products. Product andrnpromotin policy are important to the crqftsman to increase his selling volume,rnfor that the craftsman need to develop appropriate programme and strategy tornhandle it aside others. The problem in this research is formulated as follows:rnHow far is the influence of product and promotion policy to shoes sellingrnvolume of shoes craftsman in Medon Denai Subdistrict-Medon. "This researchrnaims to determine the influence qf product and promotion policy to shoes sellingrnvolume of shoes craftsman in Medon Denai Subdistrict-Medon and to determinernthe most dominant factor that influence shoes selling volume of shoes craftsmanrnin Medan Denai Subdistrict-Medan. The hypothesis in this research is: Productrnpolicy and promotion policy has influence to shoes selling volume of shoesrncraftsman in Medon Denai Subdistrict-Medon. The theory that is used relatedrnwith product and promotion policy is the marketing theory which relates withrnmarketing mix. The model that implemented in this research is QuantitativernDescriptive using -'llrvey research type and the characteristic of the research isrnexplantory descriptive. The number of the sample was 71 shoes craftsmen. Datarnwere collected by using observation
