Upaya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa tentang teori dasar musik melalui pembelajaran explicit instruction di kelas X.1 SMA N 3 Padangpanjang
Art is one of the subjects in senior high school. It has important role to develope students’ haronical personality to grab multy-intelegences such as; interpersonal quations, special visual, musical, linguistic, logical mathematic, naturalistic, moral and spriritual quations. At school, leraning art implies some methods and strategies. Students will express, create and appreaciate art. They will learn with art, learn through art and learn about art. It aims that students understand the art and they can apply in their daily life. In learning art, the students will study about class, in class X.1, when the researcher observed the art to understand about musical note and how to read musical note. To solve the problem, researcher applied learning “explicit instruction”. The students learned the art by understanding the procedural education and declarative education step by step.
